Binfield Free Church

Binfield Free Church was founded in the 1860s following Tent Missions in the area, and the chapel was completed in 1875. Since then it has maintained a faithful witness to the gospel of Jesus Christ, sometimes through some very lean times.

In October 2000 Binfield Free Church and Edgbarrow Evangelical Fellowship merged to form one church, meeting in Binfield. The Lord has blessed this merger, bringing, as it did, two quite different groups of Christians, and uniting them together in one fellowship.

Since that time the work of the church has strengthened, with the starting of Origin, a young people's work, as well as work in the local schools, where Tony Seager takes many assemblies. We have seen a number of regular attenders from within the village, and have maintained a regular leaflet distribution around the whole of Binfield.

Our prayer is that the Lord would bless the preaching of the gospel, and bring people to Christ through the ministry of the church.
